Built as part of the Project Drag system, this 80cm ultra high modulus carbon mast is purpose-built for downwind and open ocean riding. A tapered profile reduces drag where it matters most, a controlled flex layup keeps the mast stable and direct under load, and the One-Lock Tuttle connection eliminates play between the board and foil. The result is a mast that gets out of your way so you can focus on linking runs, holding speed through flat sections, and going further with less effort.

The Project Drag 80cm Mast was built alongside Trent Carter and Edo Tanas for one purpose: go faster, further, with less effort. Ultra high modulus carbon keeps it stiff and direct underfoot, a tapered profile gets progressively thinner toward the fuselage to cut through the water with as little resistance as possible, and the One-Lock connection eliminates every point of play between the board and the foil. When Trent and Edo are linking runs in open ocean conditions, this is the mast they trust.

Features

Stiffer than standard carbon at the same weight, so power transfers directly from the foil to the rider without the flex that bleeds speed on long downwind runs.
