All new PRO Gummy Straps have arrived by popular demand of the Space Mob crew and many others. Gummy Straps revolutionized the way we secure our boots back in 2017 and have been the clear leader in boot closure vs. velcro / laces / ratchet and BOA systems ever since. Why? Because the stretch of the strap is always pulling the boot tighter without coming undone or causing pressure points or overall discomfort. Slingshot's Gummy Straps also "give" or "stretch" under extreme pressure conditions such as an edge catch, allowing riders to come out of the boots if they prefer.
Over the past few seasons, we discovered that by changing the degree of stretch of the straps we could tune the fit of our boots even further, hence the introduction of new PRO STRENGTH (stiffer) Gummy Straps.
