The Nomad was the first wakeboard to cross the line of 150 centimeters and has reshaped
the way all riders and brands think about the length of their boards. Whether you prefer
cable or boat, the Nomad is built for wakeboarders seeking a new feel on the water entirely.
Think of it like longboard surfing – but for wakeboarding. It’s easier to get up, more stable
to ride, better for learning and teaching, plus it’s a blast for basics like floaty grabs, long tail
presses, and wheelies around every corner. The Nomad is guaranteed to reinvigorate riders
of all ages, sizes and skill levels.

DESIGN DIFFERENCE

As the original longboard wakeboard, the key ingredient of the Nomad is it’s abundance of surface area. The more you have, the slower riding speeds you can tolerate without the
feeling of dragging / sinking. The surface area works in tandem with a rigid belly to offer bigger pop, more stability and more control on landings. Thanks to Slingshot’s lightweight wood-core constructions, we’re able to produce a wakeboard of this size without a noticeable increase in overall swing weight.
