Quick Start Guide

To serve a wider variety of riders, two sets of foil mounting hardware are included, long and short. For Slingshot foils in Tuttle boards, the long hardware should be used. If your Tuttle mast has <5mm clearance drilled out below the barrel nut (in mast), or the mast sits deeper in the board, shorter hardware should be used.

IF USING MASTS WITH “STANDARD” (SAE) THREADED BARREL NUTS DO NOT USE PROVIDED

Mounting and Screws

The extended tuttle box has 7 holes, two of which will be covered by the shims, leaving 5 exposed. Of the exposed holes, we recommend riding with 3 screws (front, middle, back).

Shims
The board comes with three shims. 2 x 1” shims, 1 x 2” shim.
- Rear Position: Placing the 2” shim in the back
- Front Position: Placing the 2” shim in the front
- Center Position: Placing one 1” shim in back and one 1” shim in front
The shims come with barrel nuts and hardware, which can be used to keep the shims captive while riding.
