Slingshot Sports Kiteboarding, Wakeboarding, and Stand Up Paddle

So PUMPED!

So I am waiting for a ride back to my floridian bed, I just flew in from Fort Worth TX where the 2nd stop of the Pro Tour was. This week end was truly one to remember for many reasons.

For myself, I couldnt have done much more, I stuck both my final runs with Pete 5, Crow 5, ts 900, 7′s and I was also pleased with my rail hits. Finished the week end in 4th, barely missing the podium. Definitely gave Rusty a run for his money!!

As usual, Phil Soven battled hard with Harley Clifford, both sticking unbelievable runs with tricks like; Crow 5, Moby 5, Whirlydick, Front mobe 5, Pete 5, reg ts-sw ts and cab 900′s. In the end, it was Phil who stepped onto the top step of the podium, offering himself the best present possible!

As for my other room mate, Bob Soven, he put together the best run of his life in semis, but his stand out performance was during his last run when he fell on his first trick… he never let go of the handle and rode on his chest and back the WHOLE way down the lake before tumbling back up to his feet right in time for the turn around!

How’s that for a week end?!

June travels…

This spring I drove down to Orlando to get an started on my 2011 shredding. Last week I drove to the 1st PWT in Acworth, GA where I finished 11th before I kept driving home to Montreal… yes I drove 16 hours on my own and no its not THAT bad if you dont look at the clock every other minute.

Getting home was nice, home cooked meals, not having to do the groceries or the laundry. Friends and family are happy to see you and everything is set for summer. This time, things were different. Even though I was home, I was still living out of my bags… I was only home for 7 days. I am presently waiting to board my 1st flight of a 12 days trip. Fort Wort, TX – Orlando, FL – Colorado Springs CO. 4 days each for the 2nd and 3rd Pro Tour stops with a quick stay in between to ride at my 2nd home, Orlando.

Then, after Colorado, I get to go home for an other 4 days before leaving over seas to Germany, where I will be gone for 12 days. Wake the Line and a bunch of other great cable parks are on the program for a couple Slingshot brothers and I!!

Today is June 2nd and I get back from Germany on the 26th, from then on my summer will be more basic as I only have a few events on the week ends until the end of august (PWT#4-5, US Nationals, Wakestock Canada, Worlds, etc…)

Hopefully I will get to see some of you guys along the way, if not, enjoy your month of June

Road Trippin – from FLA to France, photos and video

Bonjour monamies, Matt Sexton here fresh off the trip from France. I just wrapped up a 3 week trip around the whole country hitting up some events and different spots with Alex Fox and Sean Reyngoudt. We planned the trip with Benoit Paillard from Stance Magazine and decided to see as many kite and cable spots as possible as we made our way to the south to participate in the 2011 Slider Party, a french slopestyle event with sick features and a prime location. It was hands down one of the best trips i’ve been on in years and i’m stoked to say that everyone we met along the was as nice as can be. Here’s a quick couple photos and two video’s from the trip, Myself, Fox, or Sean will post some more info / content once we get things edited. Hit up our twitters for any real time updates regarding news / coverage from the trip and check out www.stanceplanet.com as they will be releasing a DVD feature with a 30 minute detailed recap of the trip.
